A HORSE had to be rescued after it got stuck behind a fence.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service’s animal rescue officer was called out at 5.45am on Sunday to assist a crew from Fareham station.

The horse was wedged between the rear of its stable and a fence, in Tanfield Lane, Wickham.

It was coaxed out after firefighters moved objects blocking it in.
