A CATHEDRAL is hosting an informal Easter service to tell the story of Holy Week to children of all ages.

Portsmouth Cathedral, in Old Portsmouth, is holding the service on Good Friday, with hot cross buns afterwards. There will also be an Easter egg hunt in the grounds.

The Very Rev David Brindley, Dean of Portsmouth, said: ‘Come and join us to share the meaning of Easter with your children, you’re assured of a warm welcome.’

The ‘Journey through Holy Week’ service takes place on Friday at 10am. The Easter Sunday Eucharist service starts 10.30am. For more information call (023) 9282 3300.
