Jamie takes to skies to pop the question

HIS proposal was seen by thousands of people across the Solent.

And now the story of how Jamie Wrapson proposed to his partner Sophie Hughes has been shared on social media.

Romantic Jamie, from Gosport, popped the question using a banner on the back of aeroplane.

The plane and its crucial message was seen in the south from Stokes Bay, in Gosport, and Hayling Island across to Chichester and West Wittering beach.

Pictures of the plane and the proposal were shared by onlookers, wanting to know Sophie’s answer – which was yes.

More than 1,100 people liked the picture of the plane on Facebook with the couple getting congratulations on their good news.

Many people commenting on the Spotted Portsmouth page, where it was first posted, commended Jamie on the proposal.
