Have your say

ANYONE with an artistic flare or people who have always wanted to learn to paint are invited to join a local art group.

The Rowlands Castle Painting Society meets each Tuesday in the village’s parish hall.

The next meetings are on October 9 and new members are welcome to take part in a workshop exploring the sea and sky using acrylics from 2pm to 4pm.

In the evening, professional artist Danny Byrne will do a demonstration of how to draw cartoons and caricatures in pen, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

During the warmer weather the members go on days out to beautiful and inspiring places to capture the views.

For more information about joining go to rowlandscastlepaintingsociety.org.uk or call (023) 9241 2599. All abilities are welcome.
