DO YOU ever feel lonely?

If you would like to make new friends then the Rocky Rollers could be for you.

The 12-strong group meets each Tuesday at Waterlooville Community Centre at midday.

It formed a year ago after members met in All Mobility Scooters in Waterlooville and decided to undertake a charity ride on their scooters from the town to Portsmouth.

They repeated the exercise last weekend to mark the group’s one year anniversary and raise money for Queen Alexandra Hospital’s Rocky Appeal.

Lyn Waters is one of the organisers. She said: ‘The group is for absolutely anyone who would like to socialise once a week with people who are really great fun.

‘Age and whether you use a mobility scooter doesn’t matter. It’s friendship that counts. I’d also like to thank Brian and Elizabeth West at All Mobility for being so kind and helpful to us.’
