BEST-SELLING novelist Kate Mosse will open a new museum.

The internationally acclaimed author of Labyrinth, Sepulchre and The Winter Ghosts will officially open The Novium, in Chichester, on Wednesday.

She has sold millions of books and won and judged many literary awards.

She attended Chichester High School for Girls and continues to live in the area.

Councillor Myles Cullen said: ‘We are delighted that Kate Mosse will be officially opening the museum as she has such strong links with Chichester.

‘The countdown has truly begun as we are now just a few days away from opening the museum.’

The Novium opens to the public at 10am on Sunday.

Among the many fascinating exhibits on display will be the Chilgrove Mosaic and the Jupiter Stone – a portion of Roman sculpture base which dates from between the late first and early third century AD. For more information about the museum go to
