DO YOU fancy having a go at learning to sail or row?
The Langstone Sailing Club, in Havant, is holding its annual regatta on Saturday and it is an opportunity for the public to try their hand at the sport – free of charge.
Anyone with a boat is allowed to take part in the racing. And while that is going on there will be sailors and rowers from the Langstone Cutters taking lessons.
For others who want to stay on the shore there will be circus skills workshops and delicious cream teas.
Jeannette Luczkowski, from the club, said: ‘We are a self-help club and work closely with Sailability. We’re trying to promote fun on the water.
‘It’s going to be a great day.’
The first race is at 10am and last is 3pm.
