POMPEY legend Linvoy Primus helped a charity by taking part in a draw to win tickets to watch the Blues in action.

The former Fratton star stopped by at Learning Links charity, based in St George’s Square, Gunwharf Quays, which helps to get people back to work.

Linvoy drew the lucky names out of the box.

The charity gave away 20 free tickets to the Pompey v Blackpool home match, at Fratton Park, on Saturday September 24, kindly donated by Portsmouth Sports and Education Foundation.

The prize draw was a way of giving back to those who had used their services to find employment or overcome a personal barrier.

Lindsey McHugh, of Learning Links, said: ‘It’s inspiring to see people find jobs or get back into employment. We wanted to say a big well done and give everyone a pat on the back for all the hard work they put in.

‘Everyone is proud of what they’ve achieved, and Linvoy’s visit gave people a big boost. It was fantastic to have him here.’
