TICKETS are now on sale for an extravaganza of books, music and art.
Havant Literary Festival is back and bigger than it has been for years.
It will span 10 days, and venues will include The Spring Arts Centre, in East Street, schools, libraries, parish halls, pubs, clubs and cafés.
The town centre will be turned into a stage.
Writers such as Isabel Ashdown and Zella Compton will make appearances and there will be many workshops.
Tim Dawes, one of the organisers of this year’s event, which takes place in October, said: ‘We have a resident poet, Audi Maserati, a songwriter, Talis Kimberley and Breakfast Cat theatre group.
‘They will be contributing workshops and performances to the main programme, but also going into schools, libraries and workplaces. Guerilla Poetry, the Book Barney debate and the Book Fair will return.
‘We are also planning some rather interesting literary-themed artwork that will be distributed around the town.’
A £70 Golden Ticket covers almost every event but individual and weekend tickets are available. Go to ticketsource.co.uk/date/71082.
