PEOPLE are being given the chance to step on board for a tour of historic yacht Lively Lady.

The boat, which is being looked after by the Around and Around sailing charity, is berthed at her new home in Port Solent marina.

She is now open for viewing by the public most weekends by arrangement with the charity.

Carol Jenkinson, from Around and Around, said: ‘We are here to tell the history of Lively Lady to anyone who wants to come and listen.

‘The youngsters are doing an excellent job of telling the public all about her.

‘We would be grateful for donations from visitors because we are raising money for her refit.’
