Have your say

IF you are over 50 and would like to raise an issue about your community, or something that affects you personally, there is a place you can go.

The Havant 50 Plus Forum meets once a month and is a voice for older people.

The next meeting takes place at the Masonic Lodge, Waterloo Road, Havant, on Monday from 1.30pm. Jackie Bampton is on the committee of the organisation.

She said: ‘We give a warm welcome to everyone who comes along.

‘The point of the forum is to act for the over 50s in the area.

‘Any issues they may have can be raised and we will do our best to support them and act for them. We will have a guest speaker from The Spring arts centre, in East Street, talking about activities for older people.’
