Pompey manager Paul Cook and academy player Dory Yates were among about 40 people who visited St Simon’s for the day, which raised more than £400.

Organiser Helena Murphy said the event was led by a group of volunteer massage therapists. She said: ‘This is a charity very close to my heart. The support from the therapists and people from the local Portsmouth community who came along on the day to give their support was really humbling.’

Jodie Brown from Simple But Delicious sold cakes at the event, raising an extra £30 for the charity.
