MEN are going to be taught how to cook in a new class.

Winchester City Council & Hampshire County Council have organised a new pilot project in Bishop’s Waltham from September.

The Community Cookery Skills class is aimed at men over 55 and has been successful elsewhere across the county.

The seven-week course will help men get ideas and tips on preparing simple healthy meals.

The class will be held at Jubilee Hall, Bishop’s Waltham from Wednesday, September 5 from midday to 1pm with an opportunity for refreshments afterwards.

All places must be booked in advance.
