A £5,000 grant will buy a military mentoring scheme new equipment and help it to improve the lives of young people in Hampshire.

Fareham Borough Council awarded the money to Military Mentors, which runs activities for teenagers and is delivered by ex-forces servicemen and women. Leader of the council, Cllr Sean Woodward, said ‘The Community Fund has enabled Military Mentors to buy new equipment that will help improve its programmes for young people wishing to develop their fitness levels, team building and leadership skills.’
