THIS bouncing baby was a great gift for his parents – he was born on Christmas Day.

Within hours of Harrison William Crispin Agg’s birth his mum Jodey, 31, was eating Christmas dinner with the rest of the family.

Mrs Agg, of Winsor Close, Hayling Island, had been told to expect her third child’s arrival around Christmas time but not on the big day and it came as quite a shock.

She said: ‘I was due on Christmas Eve and I was desperate for him not to arrive on the most important day of the year – but he did. My girls were three to four days overdue so I did not think anything would be happening on Christmas Day.

‘I had chosen to have a home birth and I still couldn’t believe I was in labour even when I was in the birthing pool.

‘By 10.05am he was born. We believe he is a great Christmas present and it still hasn’t quite sunk in yet.

‘I can’t believe he arrived on the most important day of the year.’

With daughters Sofia, four, and Phoebe, 17 months, celebrating at their grandparents’ house Mrs Agg couldn’t wait to join them.

She said: ‘When I was in the pool I thought, “right, I will get my Christmas dinner”.

‘I was at my in-laws’ house – which is five minutes away – by 3.30pm. The girls love him. They just want to kiss and cuddle him.‘
