Councillor Seán Woodward, Chairman of the Partnership for Urban South Hampshire (PUSH), which oversees Bird Aware Solent said: ‘I’m

thrilled that Bird Aware Solent has been recognised for this award.

‘The initiative is vital as it helps to protect 125,000 birds, including curlew and brent geese, that spend the winter in the region every year.’
