A new community choir for Landport has been launched at the Oasis Centre in Arundel Street, Portsmouth.

The choir is under the musical direction of Andrew Cleary, who is also the musical director of the Portsmouth Military Wives Choir.

The new, informal group will sing all types of music. There are no auditions and it’s open to anyone who lives or works in Landport.

This week is the first of three open evenings on Wednesdays at 7.15pm when you can come along and see how you get on.

No booking is required.
