PLANS to build houses on a former school playing field will be shown to the public for the first time.

David Wilson Homes want to build 76 properties on the site north of Stakes Road, Waterlooville, which used to be Purbrook Park School playing fields.

An exhibition is being held on Tuesday at Purbrook Park School, Park Avenue, between 4.30pm and 8.30pm.

It is an opportunity for the public to provide feedback about the development before a planning application is submitted to Havant Borough Council.

Architects, engineers and planners will be on hand to answer questions about the proposals.

The site is just under three hectares and a mix of two, three and four bedroom homes are proposed.
