Bid to extend Southsea’s South Parade Pier cafe sparks war of words

A GROUP of ‘nutty knitters’ have raised than £100 for charity by making hats, scarves, mittens and dolls.

The Nutty Knitters, a Fareham knitting group, made £155 by selling more than 100 handmade items to fill shoe boxes, which also went to charity. The Nutty Knitters meet at the Highlands Hub on Highlands Road, Fareham, every Friday from 9am until 1pm.
