VOLUNTEERS at a food bank are asking for donations.

Fareham and Gosport Basics Bank needs tinned meat, jams, marmalade and long-life milk to give to those in need.

In addition to food, the organisation is also low on stocks for sanitary items.

This includes shower gel, shampoo, deodorants and razors.

For information on how to donate, call (01329) 822204 or visit friendsofthehomeless.org.uk.

Or people can drop in and visit them at David Bogue Hall, in Bury Road, Gosport.
