Outstanding report for Southsea nursery
Leapfrog Neighbourhood Nursery, of Villiers Road, was given praise for the way it was organised and provided an exciting, challenging environment for children to learn in.
The report, which was published earlier this month, meant that the nursery retained its Outstanding accreditation from the inspectors, across all areas of the establishment.

Hide AdThis also means that it is part of the 16 per cent of early years’ providers across the UK who receive this level of Ofsted praise.
The report praised the work of staff for how they engage with children and show a full understanding of how to teach each individual student at the nursery.
Inspectors said: ‘Staff plan an outstanding range of exciting activities that support children to make the best possible progress.
‘Children are also able to develop a wide range of skills, which prepare them well for starting school’

Hide AdNursery manager Jayne Barnes said: ‘Both myself and the rest of the team here at Leapfrog Neighbourhood Nursery feel extremely proud to be recognised as a setting where children are happy, independent, enthusiastic and motivated in their learning and development.
‘A significant element of this success is the close partnership with parents that supports the excellent continuity in children’s care and learning.’
Owners Teresa Conley and Neil Parkin also said how pleased they were that the hard work and dedication of the Leapfrog team is acknowledged in such a positive report.
