The historic four-day bank holiday weekend has marked Her Majesty’s 70 years on the throne.
Hundreds of street parties have been being staged to mark the celebration, with Big Lunch events on Southsea Common, the King George V playing fields and elsewhere today.

On Thursday night beacons were lit and Friday parties started across Portsmouth, Havant, Fareham, Gosport and Waterlooville.
Last night saw the Platinum Party at the Palace at Buckingham Palace and this afternoon in London was the People’s Jubilee Pageant.

Lee-on-the-Solent jubilee celebrations
Packed crowds have gathered in Lee-on-the-Solent to enjoy the Queen’s Jubilee.
Herbert Road, Southsea
Residents on Herbert Road were overjoyed with the turnout of their street party.
They were elated at the immense effort made by those attending.
A Great British Bake Off style competition took place, and a few glasses of bubbly were shared.
Carly Barwick, 35, said: ‘It is really lovely for all the community to come together to celebrate’
Mavis Page, 84, said that the Queen means ‘a great deal’ to her and ‘she is the world.’
