MYSTERY surrounds a memory card full of pictures that was found in a pub – as no-one has come forward to claim it.
The card was found in the Hunters Inn pub, in Cott Street, Swanmore, about six weeks ago.
The pub had hired safety system company Risk Busters to carry out some work when an employee found the card.
But despite trying different leads found from some of the images on the card the company is yet to find its owner.
Company director Adam Picariello, 33, said: We took it back to our office, viewed the photos and have been posting them on Facebook with the hope of reuniting it with the owner so they can start the new year with some old memories.’
Among the pictures is one of a 70th birthday cake decorated with a fighter plane bearing the message ‘happy birthday Trevor’.
Other pictures seem to be taken from a garden party while some are from a holiday.
Adam added: ‘We know that the owner has been to Barcelona and saw La Sagrada Familia – the Gaudi Cathedral – is a member of, or knows someone who is in the T R Drivers Club and had some sort of party at The Hunters Inn. Some were taken in the Hunters Inn and the pub manager has told us that looking at the Christmas decorations in the picture they seem to be from a couple of years ago.
‘We hope The News can help us reunite the card to the owner.’
The pictures were taken on an Olympus SP510UZ and appears the last image was taken in 2006 so may have been in the pub for some time.
All the pictures can be found at theriskbusters.co.uk.
