A SEA of Santas will be cheering Portsmouth Football Club on at Fratton Park as Pompey in the Community stages its second annual Santa Saturday on December 14.

On the day, Pompey will be playing Newport County and fans are being asked to wear a special blue Santa suit to the game to spread the Christmas cheer and raise money for the charity at the same

Clare Martin, chief executive of Pompey in the Community, said: ‘For a donation of just £5 to our funds, fans can collect a suit and feel a real part of Santa Saturday.

‘Pompey in the Community wants to make Fratton Park a sea of blue and white Santa suits as it stages the Portsmouth Football Club’s second annual Santa Saturday on December 14.

‘We staged this event last year at the Preston game and it proved so popular we decided to do it again.’

Suits are available from the study centre in Anson Road from now until December 14 and from the Pompey Bus in the main car park at the Scunthorpe, Southend and Wycombe home

Suits are available in four sizes: small child, large child, small adult and large adult and every suit comes complete with Pompey top complete with the club’s logo, belt, trousers, hat and a beard.
