MORE mainstream artists have been snapped up for the eagerly-anticipated Portsmouth Summer Show.
Pop singer and reality TV star Peter Andre, US hip-hop band Fun Lovin’ Criminals and former X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan are gearing up to perform at the event, set to be held on King George V Playing Fields, Cosham.

The acts join a star-studded line-up also featuring street dance troupe Diversity, boy band 5ive and X Factor winner Sam Bailey.
English pop rockers Scouting for Girls and The Hoosiers will also wow crowds during the two-day festival, being held from April 30 to May 1.
The organisers – also responsible for the hugely popular Victorious Festival on Southsea Common – hope to pull in crowds of up to 40,000 people, 20,000 per day.
Co-organiser Andy Marsh spoke of his pride in the occasion.
He said: ‘It’s about keeping it separate to Victorious Festival – it’s a huge family day out.
‘It’s super cheap at £10 a ticket and it’s great because it’s an occasion that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
‘Yet it’s still bringing in some big names.
‘It’s also another great offer for the north of the city, that’s the whole point of Portsmouth Summer Show.
‘Last year, we weren’t sure how it would go down, but it went really well and it’s nice to do something that’s not always in Southsea.
‘The acts we’ve booked are accessible to everyone, and the area is easy to get to as it has great transport links.
‘It’s nice because it’s got that really nice fete feel to it as well.’
As reported, a programme of family activities has been drawn up, including a Big Top with a petting zoo, demonstrations from karate and dance troupes and a fun fair.
Guests will also be treated to craft and street food stalls and bars.
Tickets cost £10 per day for adults, £5 for anyone aged five to 15 and it is £1 for under-fives.
Adult prices will rise to £15 nearer the time. To buy, visit portsmouthsummershow.co.uk or visit Cosham Library.
