Portsmoth Museum and Art Gallery reopens for the first time since coronavirus lockdown

A CITY culture hub has reopened its doors to the public following months of lockdown limbo.

Portsmouth Museum and Art Gallery started up again on Wednesday with extra safety measures in place to limit the spread of coronavirus.

It is the latest city attraction to be reopened by Portsmouth City Council after it was awarded the national ‘We're Good to Go’ standard.

The award is a benchmark for leisure facilities. It shows sites have carried out a coronavirus risk assessment and are following public health guidance on the pandemic.

The attraction, in Museum Road, is free to visit and open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am-5.30pm.
