Portsmouth Military Wives' cash plea to make Remembrance album

MILITARY wives in Portsmouth have issued a rallying cry to support their bid to record an album marking the centenary of the ending of the First World War next year.

Portsmouth Military Wives have united with more than 70 other military wives choirs and military bands from all three wings of the armed forces in an effort to produce the Remembrance album.

But to make the record a reality, the group needs people to pre-order copies to raise enough cash to produce it.

A crowdfunding page has now been set up. It will run until December 16. To pledge, see pledgemusic.com/projects/mwc.
