OLDER men have been paid a visit by an MP in their new home.

The Gosport Men’s Shed project has now set up in St Vincent College, Mill Lane.

Men attending the 60-strong group, which aims to tackle social isolation in Gosport, met with the town’s MP Caroline Dinenage.

Ms Dinenage said: ‘I am always delighted to see the lovely chaps at the Gosport Men’s Shed and was thrilled to see their fantastic new home.

‘I feel a particular fondness for this group as I was at their very first inaugural meeting and have maintained a close friendship with them ever since.’

The shed project was set up in 2013 and originally based in Fort Brockhurst, visit thegosportshed.btck.co.uk
