Revealed - the most popular baby names in England and Wales last year

The most popular baby names for boys and girls over the last 12 months have been revealed. 

The list features some familiar favourites as well as some new entries into the top ten. The data comes from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

The most popular name for boys in 2018 was Oliver, it topped the list for the sixth year in a row. A total of 5,390 babies were named Oliver last year, according to the ONS
