FITNESS lovers dressed as pirates joined forces to take part in a boot camp in aid of the Rowans Hospice.

The event took place at Redlands Primary School, Fareham, and raised £260 for the charity.

It was organised by Nikki Caputa, 43, of Elms Road, Fareham, in memory of her friend Lesley Ashcroft, who died from breast cancer and a brain tumour in April.

Lesley had used the hospice and it continues to support her family, and Nikki wanted to do something to support the charity in return.

Nikki, owner of Fab Body Bootcamp, said: ‘We had great fun dressed as pirates, and such lovely weather to make it a really special afternoon.’
