A CEREMONIAL guard of Royal Navy sailors who have practised their marching skills at HMS Collingwood in preparation for the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games found their hard work had paid off.

Drawn from across the service, the 30 sailors and submariners joined their Royal Marine, Army and RAF colleagues in equal numbers at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London last night Wednesday evening to mark the start of the games for injured personnel.
