FINE ales will be flowing as a huge beer festival is held in Cowplain.

The event is open to all and will take place at Cowplain Social Club, in London Road, from midday to midnight on Saturday.

From midday to 2pm there will be a free bouncy castle for children, as well as band entertainment from 8.30pm.

Local brewers Mike and Caroline Charlton, from Havant Brewery, are supporting the event for the second year and have ordered in real ales including their own to give people the chance to sample a wide variety.

Entry is £2 on the door.
