The second Mind, Body, Spirit fayre will take place on Sunday, November 7 at Cosham Trades Social Club in Wayte Street.

Organised by psychic medium Kev Hooper, the event aims to raise awareness about natural remedies and ‘all things spiritual and holistic’.

There will be 20 stallholders, all offering a range of services such as tarot reading, crystal healing, Reiki healing, reflexology and meditation.

Kev said the previous fayre that took place on October 3 was very popular and he hopes that the second event will be just as successful. He plans to run the events each month and will be expanding the fayres to Chichester, Bedhampton and Selsey next year.

He said: ‘Awareness is a big thing, the holistic world is not really out there to the general public and we’ve got amazing people here, and I’m the only Mind, Body, Spirit fayre in the Portsmouth area.

‘There’s a lot of lost people out there, a lot of people suffering since what happened last year and we’re here to help people.’

Pauline Lympany is a sound therapist and makes Native American-inspired shamanic crafts. She really enjoyed the last fayre and said that sound therapy is becoming more understood by the science world.

She said: ‘I do drumming and sound relaxation sessions for anyone who might have stress or anxiety. The last session was really good, it was great to see some new faces. I would say just give it a go, sound is a healer.’

Charlotte Chase makes dream catchers, jewellery with crystals and will also be selling Himalayan salt lamps. She said she is excited about the fayre and that it’s always a success when she’s surrounded by other optimistic people.

She said: ‘I’m excited, I think it’s always successful when you get to meet great people and have great conversations even with other stallholders, because it’s such a like-minded community and always so positive with good energy.’

Kev said that the natural approach to health is important to promote and he hopes that the fayre will help to educate people.
