‘We haven’t really thought about what we’re going to buy or what we’re going to spend the money on just yet, but we were planning on going on holiday so it means we can afford a more luxury trip away now.

‘I didn’t think it would ever happen to me, it hasn’t really sunk in yet but I’m over the moon.

‘When I found out that I had a winning ticket I was speechless, I immediately called my husband and said I think I’ve just won £100,000.’

Peter Cole, 57, said: ‘When Christine called me I thought she was winding me up, but it was nice news to receive, a great surprise.

‘I’m delighted, I think the whole town knows about it as well now.’
