GROUPS of Cubs and Scouts have helped raise thousands for charity by packing shopping in a supermarket.

The 1st Locks Heath Scout group raised £982.30 for Mencap, on Saturday, October 1 at the Co-op in Locks Heath.

And on Saturday, November 19, they raised £1,133.05 for the St George foundation which rescues, homes and educates children living in Sierra Leone.

The leaders, Cubs and Scouts, have thanked shoppers for their generosity.
