Street dancer celebrates win at talent competition

A YOUNG dancer walked away with £1,000 after winning a talent contest.

Wayde Bowry – or Dynamic as he’s known on stage – impressed judges with his urban mash-up routines at the annual Bunn Leisure’s Got Talent competition.

The 13-year-old was handed a cheque by West End star Darren Day, who performed some of his biggest hits at the leisure park in Selsey, West Sussex.

Wayde, from Middlesex, said: ‘It felt amazing to win the competition. I won the school talent show last year, but Bunn Leisure’s Got Talent is the first big award I’ve won for my dancing and it made me feel really great.’

Bryony-Rose Brookman, 16, from Worthing sang her way to second place.

John Bunn, managing director of Bunn Leisure, said: ‘We were very impressed by the entries we had this year, ranging from singers, to dancers, to comedians.’

‘It was a very difficult decision for the judges, but we felt Wayde and Bryony-Rose really stood out.’
