SEVENTY-TWO tubes of toothpaste are off to Eastern Europe to help children affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.

Morrisons in Horndean has made the donation and is collecting items from shoppers for the gift boxes, which are co-ordinated by Samaritan’s Purse. Rachel Swanton, from the store, said anyone interested can speak to her and she will pass on the donations.
