AN INQUEST into the death of a taxi driver has been opened.

As previously reported, Trevor Fentiman, 68, of Gosport, died on December 20, minutes after he had a row with two men he dropped off at HMS Sultan at 2am.

HM Coroner for Portsmouth and South East Hampshire opened the inquest on Monday, December 24 but has only now released the information.

Members of Mr Fentiman’s family will travel from Spain to attend his funeral next week.
