Community fundraising manager Tim Green said he was thrilled with the ‘On Yer Bike’ marathon ride, which took place on static bikes donated by the University of Portsmouth.

Mr Green said: ‘Raising this amount is a great achievement and I just want to say a big thank you to Cascades and everyone who donated.

‘Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Together we will find a cure.’
