SO, what is it you love about The News?
Or, just as importantly, what is it you are not so happy about when it comes to reading your local, daily newspaper?
You will all have the chance to put your thoughts to me in person as I head out for another of my regular readers’ roadshows.
I am lucky to have a fantastic team at The News and we all work hard and take pride in bringing the best news, sports, entertainment and information from where you live.
We cover a large and busy patch for the newspaper and our portsmouth.co.uk website and we need to continue to ensure we are providing what is most relevant to your lives
We know we can’t please all our readers all the time and we also know we don’t necessarily always get it right 100 per cent of the time.
So it’s great to talk our valued readers and hear how you think we are doing.
Is there anything you would like to see more of in The News? Are there subjects or stories from where you live which you think we should focus on?
Or are there things we cover you would like to see a little less off?!
After all, it is YOUR paper. So it’s vital that we listen carefully to your views and, where we can, act on them.
After all, the majority of the changes to the paper over the years have been as a direct result of reader research.
So please come and see me for a chat at the following venues from 10am to noon:
- Monday, March 2: Cascades, Portsmouth
- Tuesday, March 3: Meridian Shopping Centre, Havant
- Wednesday, March 4: Discovery Centre, Gosport
- Friday, March 6: Fareham Shopping Centre
Alternatively, if you cannot make one of the roadshows then I will be taking calls on Tuesday evening from 5pm to 6.30pm.
Please call (023) 9262 2102.
