A WHOPPING 27 people ran the 10-mile race dressed in pink in memory of Harvey Ashworth.
The youngster tragically died in his sleep aged 11 in July last year, shortly before he was due to take part in his very first Junior Great South Run.
But the team – called The Harvey Army – did him proud as they tackled the course together yesterday.
Dad Luke, 33, said: ‘Harvey was a big fan of the Great South Run. He used to watch me do it every year.
‘We’re looking on the positive side of things, and this is fantastic.’
The Harvey Army have raised a staggering £5,000 for charity by taking part in the race.
