DUE to overnight production problems on our presses we are sorry to say that deliveries of today’s Weekend edition of The News to Portsmouth, Havant and Waterlooville and the Isle of Wight have been delayed and will not be available in the shops until tomorrow morning.

Direct delivery customers in these areas will still receive their newspaper today, but some may be delivered later than usual.

All deliveries to Fareham and Gosport are unaffected and readers will be able to pick up their copy as usual from all outlets today.

The News editor Mark Waldron said: ‘I would like to apologise to all our readers for any problems you experience picking up The News today and any inconvenience this causes.

‘The production issues have hit our normal delivery service and I thank you for your loyalty, patience and understanding while we work to get everything back to normal over this weekend.’
