FROM croissants to crepes, olives and cheese, the tastes and flavours of France will be available to all when a popular French market visits Emsworth.

Le Marche de France will come direct from Normandy to Palmers Road car park, bringing 10 stalls packed with everything from delicious delicacies to authentic French soap, lavender, tablecloths, handbags, wallets and wooden toys.

Freshly-made crepes will be on offer and the sweet stall will be making praline during the day.

‘We are pleased to welcome the delights of the French market back and would encourage as many people as possible to come along,’ said Jeff Crate, Havant Borough Council’s economic development officer.

‘As well as the delicious continental produce available from the market, visitors will be able to take advantage of the wide range of shops on offer in the town centre at the same time.’

The French market is on Friday, April 13 from 9am to 4pm.
