A COMMUNITY has pulled together to organise a fundraising fun day over the bank holiday.

The first North West ward community fun day for Cancer Research UK is at the Hammond Road rec in Fareham on Sunday, August 26.

From 10am to 4pm there will be fun and games to keep all the family entertained, including a raffle, bouncy castle, tombola, face and body painting, music, truck pull, a tug-of-war, a pets corner, barbecue and refreshments and much more.

The mayor of Fareham, Cllr Dennis Steadman, and mayoress Carole Steadman, will be making an appearance.
