A GROUP of talented young singers are set to headline a top music venue.

Members of the Havant-based Urban Vocal Group are performing a showcase concert at The Wedgewood Rooms, in Southsea, on December 18.

The group is a not for profit community organisation which offers free vocal training to 11 to 19-year-olds.

They have been wowing audiences across the south since 2008 and performed at over 30 events together, sung live on radio and even released a charity single.

With a repertoire of contemporary tunes the evening will also feature the popular funk and soul band Tremain who will both perform on their own and accompany The Urban Vocal Group.

Tickets are available direct from the Wedgewood Rooms, on the door or by emailing
