Tributes to 'wonderfully caring' teenager who died in crash on Isle of Wight

The family of a teenager who died in a car crash have said that her death leaves an ‘irreplaceable void’.

Emergency services were called following a single vehicle collision, involving a black Ford Fiesta, which happened on the A3056 at Hale Common, Arreton, at 11.35pm.

Michaela Logan, 19, of Carisbrooke Road in Newport, Isle of Wight, was driving the Fiesta.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Paying tribute to Michaela, her family said: ‘Michaela was a wonderfully caring and infinitely patient young lady whose impact on this world is far more reaching than it should have been for someone who was with us for such a short time.

‘With a smile that lit any room, she leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who loved her.’

Police are continuing to appeal for anyone with information about the collision, or dash cam footage, to contact them on 101, quoting 44200012614.
