THE future of a residential home under risk of closure will be discussed at a public meeting tomorrow

Bulmer House, in Ramshill, Petersfield could close as part of a plan by Hampshire County Council.

Its proposals are to replace Bulmer House with an Extra Care Assisted Living scheme, which offers individual apartments with on-site 24-hour care and support.

Councillor Julie Butler, who chairs the community forum for Petersfield, said: ‘This is an important topic which I know is close to the hearts of a lot of residents in the town.’

The meeting takes place at the council chamber, in Penns Place from 6.30pm.
