A wildlife hospital near Chichester is holding an event today to recruit volunteers.

Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital takes in more than 3,000 sick, injured and orphaned wild animals and birds from across West Sussex and Hampshire every year.

But it is running low on volunteers and is inviting animal lovers to discuss opportunities from 3pm to 6pm at Brent Lodge, Cow Lane, Sidlesham, West Sussex, PO20 7LN.

Visitors will be given a guided tour of the site and then discuss the different roles available.

There several roles available, including working with the animals, van driving, helping in the charity shops, fundraising, hedgehog releasing/fostering, maintenance and gardening and help with events.

Go to brentlodge.org.uk for more information.
