Adults who would like to help children and young people in care are invited to attend an information evening in West Sussex.

The Independent Visitor Scheme, run by West Sussex County Coucil, pairs potential volunteers with a child or young person living in care away from their parents and supports them to do activities with them.

An information evening takes place at Bognor Regis Library, London Road on Thursday, August 27 at 6.30pm, with refreshments from 6pm.

Full training is offered and expenses are paid.

For more information, visit westsussex.gov.uk and search ‘Independent Visitor’.
