PEOPLE are being asked to nominate council staff who have gone the extra mile to help.

National Customer Service Week started yesterday and Havant Borough Council is asking residents to get involved and vote for council staff who provide a good service.

Horizon Leisure Centres have joined in the fun and are offering leisure passes as prizes for a children’s colouring competition.

People can pick up the colouring booklets from The Plaza in Havant or the Visitor Information Centre at Beachlands, Hayling Island.

Councillor Mike Cheshire, responsible for marketing and development, said; ‘Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and our goal is to provide excellent customer service.

‘It’s our customer service team who have made the suggestion to get the public to vote, which I think is highly commendable and clearly shows confidence in the work we do.’

To nominate visit or call (023) 9244 6040.
